Overview
A value table is a tool for associating:
- input data (e.g. a word, a number, customer data, etc.) ➡️ “Reference”
- with output data (e.g. a country, a customer team, a phone number, etc.). ➡️ “Value”
These correspondences will be tested to automate different actions in a smart routing or in a workflow.

The value tables can be used for all three channels (voice, email, messaging).
Configuring
1) Creation
Value tables are created in the “Toolbox” section of the Maker.
Note: 2 value tables can have the same name, but the reference must be unique. Description is optional.
Once created, the table of values can be filled with matches.
By default, the limit of matches is set to 50.
For more information, see the article on limits by clicking here.

Note: one value can correspond to several references.
E.g. you want to match several cities to a single phone number.
2) Import
Open your previously created value table.
To fill in your value table, you can complete the correspondences by manual input.
You can also import the correspondences.
To help you, a CSV template is available. To use it, click on the cogged wheel and then on “download a CSV template”.
On the cogged wheel, you can also use “import the correspondances”.
You can then import your file, choose the delimiter, and choose whether or not to import the data in the event of an error.
You’ll then need to choose which of your spreadsheet’s columns will be entered in “Name”, which in “Reference” and which in “Value”.
If you wish, you can use one or more filters.
To do this, select the column to be filtered, choose whether the value should be :
-
- an exact match (e.g. I only want the rows in the column where the value “Paris” is indicated, so I choose the = symbol).
-
- a partial match (e.g. I want all rows that include “Paris” -> Paris-Notre-Dame, Paris-9e, Paris-le-Marais, etc., I choose LIKE)
-
- an exact excluded match (e.g. I don’t want the lines where the value is “Paris”, I choose the != symbol)
3) Export
Once the value tables have been set up, you can export them.
As with imports, you can apply one or more filters.
There are 2 possible types of export:
-
- export value tables: directly in the list of value tables
-
- export value table correspondences: in a particular value table
In both cases, exports can be retrieved by opening your user capsule (by clicking on your name in the top right-hand corner), then clicking on “My account”, and finally on “My exports”.
4) Use in Smart routings and workflows
Please make sure to create everything you’ll need upstream (queues, variables, etc.).
Once created, value tables can be integrated in:
1️⃣ Smart Routings: orient interactions according to dynamic criteria.
2️⃣ Workflows: automate actions based on stored data.
