{"id":945,"date":"2022-04-15T09:02:37","date_gmt":"2022-04-15T07:02:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/help.ino.cx\/?post_type=ht_kb&#038;p=945"},"modified":"2025-02-20T11:27:50","modified_gmt":"2025-02-20T10:27:50","slug":"profiles-set-them-up","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"https:\/\/help.ino.cx\/index.php\/help-center\/profiles-set-them-up\/","title":{"rendered":"Profiles &#8211; Set them up"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignright size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1080\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/help.ino.cx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Smart-licence-needed-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3984\" style=\"width:245px\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>[<em>Reading time: 8 minutes<\/em>]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:26px\">Overview<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The &#8216;<strong>Profiles<\/strong>&#8216; module in the <strong>Maker<\/strong> allows configuration of what users can do and access in the Banner with an active profile, such as cases, queues, interactions, campaigns, etc. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1646\" height=\"1471\" src=\"https:\/\/help.ino.cx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/undraw_tabs_tlxz.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4728\" style=\"width:200px\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>If certain permissions are not associated with the active profile, some modules may not even be displayed in the Banner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Users can have multiple profiles and switch between them as needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:26px\">Prerequisites<\/h2>\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Users you want to add to the profile.<\/li>\n<li>The default activity you wish to set to the profile.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Many items will need to be added to the profile (cases, platforms, queues, transfer rules, layouts etc.). You can always modify the content of your profile later if you need to.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:26px\">Configuring (Maker)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can create up to 50 profiles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the Maker, go to the \u2018Users\u2019 module, \u2018Profiles\u2019 sub-module : You will find a list of existing profiles. Click on \u2018Create\u2019 or enter an existing profile by clicking on the arrow.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Each profile has <strong>two<\/strong> tabs:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Settings: allow or deny access to interactions, flows, transfers, collaborative tools, supervision, records, campaigns, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Configuration: allow or deny access to specific campaigns, queues, activities, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n<p>All rights granted or revoked will then be reflected in the Banner of users when this profile is active.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Settings<\/h3>\n\n\n<p>This tab is a grid with sections and a clickable table of contents in the right side panel. <strong>This tab lets you set general rights for a profile<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>You&#8217;ll find 3 buttons at the top of this tab:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>online refresher: to take into account any changes you&#8217;ve made, without having to log out and log back in.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>edit mode: to modify settings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>cogwheel: for supervision, to update counters when the situation changes (e.g. from 1 agent connected to 10).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Click on edit to modify the parameters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">General<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u201cgeneral\u201d section contains 4 fields: the name given to the profile, the alias (used for statistics), the reference (for searches) and a possible description.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Interactions<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>You will find 4 fields for the \u201cinteractions\u201d section:<strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>timeout<\/strong> (legal obligation, delay before a new interaction is presented to the agent or before the agent can make a new outgoing interaction), <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>maximum number of missed interactions<\/strong> (beyond this, the agent&#8217;s activity will change automatically), <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>choice of <strong>activity<\/strong> that will be assigned automatically if the agent reaches the maximum number of missed interactions (activities must already be configured).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Flow<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>You&#8217;ll find several fields for the \u201cflows\u201d section, divided into 3 columns (voice, email, messages): <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>flow<\/strong> (will the user with this active profile have access to the flows, and will he be able to activate or deactivate them himself? This will appear in the small Banner, in the form of 3 flow buttons, which may or may not be clicked, depending on the rights granted),<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"534\" height=\"150\" src=\"https:\/\/help.ino.cx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Capture-de\u0301cran-2024-11-13-a\u0300-16.07.50.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4357\" style=\"width:300px\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>outgoing interactions<\/strong> (can the user make smart or direct outgoing interactions, to which countries, is he allowed to make an outgoing interaction to a premium-rate number? This will influence the buttons displayed on the small banner),<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"544\" height=\"844\" src=\"https:\/\/help.ino.cx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Capture-de\u0301cran-2024-11-13-a\u0300-16.12.49.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4358\" style=\"width:300px\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>interaction management<\/strong> (access to the pool of pending interactions in the banner, number of interactions the agent can have simultaneously, right to refuse smart interaction, automatic opening of an interaction on screen or only in the small banner, automatic acceptance of smart interaction and after how long),<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"100\" height=\"264\" src=\"https:\/\/help.ino.cx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Capture-de\u0301cran-2024-11-13-a\u0300-16.23.42.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4359\" style=\"width:50px\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>interaction processing<\/strong> (supervision rate, right to mute, to start a manual recording (which will be different from discreet listening), permission to start a conference from a voice or message interaction).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Transfers<\/h4>\n\n\n<p>You will find 5 fields for the \u201ctransfers\u201d section:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>assisted transfer to queue right<\/strong> (an agent can transfer a call while remaining briefly on the line to ease the transition. Example: knowledge base, directories, document center. By default, full access is always <strong>disabled<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"173\" height=\"579\" src=\"https:\/\/help.ino.cx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Capture-de\u0301cran-2024-10-07-a\u0300-16.54.30.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4103\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>USERS<\/strong>: a<span class=\"OYPEnA font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">dd all the <a href=\"https:\/\/help.ino.cx\/index.php\/help-center\/adding-new-users\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">users<\/a> who will be able to use this profile. Define this profile as the \u2018active profile\u2019 for an user, so that it is the default profile at login for the user.<\/span> <em>Note: if you want to link multiple profiles to a single user, we recommend that you do this via the Users sub-module.\u00a0<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>ACTIVITIES<\/strong>: a<span class=\"OYPEnA font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">dd all the <a href=\"https:\/\/help.ino.cx\/index.php\/help-center\/activities-creating-and-configuring\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">activities<\/a> that can be used by the user when this profile is active, and choose the default activity at login.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>QUEUES<\/strong>: associate queues with a profile. For each queue, activate or deactivate voice, email, messaging, supervision and flow. Choose scores for each channel (voice, email, messaging) that will make it possible to prioritise one profile over another in a queue, in particular when several advisors with different profiles can process an interaction coming from the same queue.<br \/><em>Note: this score can range from 0 to 100.<\/em><br \/>You can also set distribution scores for each user in the profile.<\/li>\n<li><strong>TRANSFER RULES<\/strong>: add the <a href=\"https:\/\/help.ino.cx\/index.php\/help-center\/transfer-rules-set-them-up\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">transfer rules<\/a> you want users with this profile to be able to use.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong>VOICE CAMPAIGNS<\/strong>: add all the voice campaigns you want.
