Each strategy contains one or more triggers that evaluate visitor behavior or visit context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A strategy can operate using two logic modes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>All conditions met<\/strong> (AND): the chat is triggered only when all triggers in the strategy are satisfied simultaneously.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>At least one condition met<\/strong> (OR): the chat is triggered as soon as at least one trigger is satisfied.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Once created, the strategy is associated with a <a href=\"https:\/\/help.ino.cx\/index.php\/help-center\/chat-modules-how-to-use-them\/\">chat module<\/a> to determine whether the chat icon should appear, the full chat window should open, or both.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Prerequisites<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Access to the Maker<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>Trigger strategy<\/strong> permission enabled in your user profile (read, create, edit, and\/or delete depending on the actions you need to perform)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At least one <a href=\"https:\/\/help.ino.cx\/index.php\/help-center\/chat-modules-how-to-use-them\/\">chat module<\/a> configured to associate the strategy with<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If using a <strong>Schedule<\/strong> trigger, a calendar must have been previously created<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Configuring triggers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>After creating a strategy, open it to access its detail page. Managing trigger conditions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>For each trigger condition added to a strategy, three action buttons are available:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Cogged wheel<\/strong> \u2013 duplicate the condition or view its modification history<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pencil<\/strong> \u2013 edit the condition<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Trash<\/strong> \u2013 delete the condition<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Associating a strategy with a chat module<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For a strategy to take effect, it must be associated with a <a href=\"https:\/\/help.ino.cx\/index.php\/help-center\/chat-modules-how-to-use-them\/\">chat module<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In the side menu, go to <strong>Entry point > Chat modules<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the desired chat module<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Navigate to the <strong>Trigger strategies<\/strong> tab<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Add the trigger strategies<\/strong> and select the strategy or strategies to associate<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>For each associated strategy, you can configure the display behavior:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><thead><tr><th>Option<\/th><th>Description<\/th><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>Displaying the chat icon<\/strong><\/td><td>When the strategy conditions are met, the chat icon appears on the visitor&#8217;s page.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Opening the entire chat<\/strong><\/td><td>When the strategy conditions are met, the chat window opens automatically.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Tip: you can combine multiple strategies on the same chat module with different display behaviors. Managing trigger strategies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5.1. Edit<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>From the strategies list, click the arrow to open the strategy you want to edit. You can modify the name, reference, alias, or triggering logic, then click <strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also edit individual triggers from the strategy detail page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5.2. Duplicate<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You can duplicate an existing strategy using the cogged wheel button.
