Overview<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Knowledge base<\/strong> and the Document center<\/strong> are two resources available directly from the Banner. They allow agents to access useful documents, browse internal knowledge, and insert content into their interactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both tools are accessible from any module of the Banner through two dedicated buttons displayed at the top of the interface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Document center<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Click the Document center<\/strong> button in the Banner to open the list of available folders and files.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.1. Search bar<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A search bar is available at the top of the panel to quickly find items. The search applies to both folders and files.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.2. File types and actions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Document center can contain:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Folders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    • Files stored directly at the root (not inside a folder)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
      \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

      Available actions depend on the file\u2019s visibility:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • Private files:<\/strong> can be downloaded only.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Public files:<\/strong> can be downloaded, opened in a new tab, or shared through a public link.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        1.3. Sharing a document in a collaborative conversation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

        When you are in a collaborative conversation<\/strong> (internal conversation with one or more INO cx users), you can attach a document directly from the Document center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Opening the Document center in this context displays an additional +<\/strong> button that allows you to add the selected document to the conversation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        1.4. Profile-based access<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

        The content of the Document center depends on your active profile<\/strong>. When you switch profiles, the list of accessible documents updates accordingly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        2. Knowledge base<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        Click the Knowledge base<\/strong> button in the Banner to browse internal articles and templates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        A search bar helps you find items quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        2.2. Actions available during an interaction<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

        During an interaction, two actions are available to agents:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        • Copy to the clipboard<\/strong>: copies the selected text so you can paste it where needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Insert the text<\/strong>: automatically inserts the selected text into the interaction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          For example, during an email interaction, you can open an email template stored in the Knowledge base and insert it directly into the message body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          2.3. Adding documents from the Document center<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

          A file stored in the Document center can be added to the knowledge base and then used in interactions directly from the knowledge base.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Depending on the channel:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          • For email<\/strong>, two options are available:\n
              \n
            • Add the document as an attachment<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Insert the document content directly into the email<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
