Overview<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Scenarios<\/strong> module in Reporter allows you to schedule automatic and dynamic displays<\/strong> of multiple INO cx dashboards or explorations (only the KPIs will be displayed).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is a useful tool for creating sequences of visualizations, for example on a control room screen, that updates automatically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Rights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To create a Scenario, you must have the following rights in the Maker<\/strong> (in the role, Reporter tab):<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • Access to the Scenarios<\/strong> module<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Create<\/strong> permission for a Scenario<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Once the rights are granted:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    1. Go to the Reporter<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Open the Scenarios<\/strong> module<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      2. Scenario list<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      When you access the module, you will see the list of existing Scenarios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Features in the list view:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      • Search bar<\/strong> \u2013 search by scenario name<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Scenario name<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Rights<\/strong>:\n
          \n
        • Guest<\/strong> \u2013 can view the history and open the Scenario, but cannot edit it<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Owner<\/strong> \u2013 can edit, delete, launch, and manage user access<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Number of users<\/strong> with access (owners + guests)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          Available actions:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
            \n
          • Start<\/strong> a Scenario (only available if at least one scene exists inside)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Open<\/strong> the Scenario (arrow icon)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • View history<\/strong> (cogwheel icon)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Edit<\/strong> (pencil icon \u2013 owners only)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Delete<\/strong> (trash icon \u2013 owners only)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            Guests can only open a Scenario, view its history, and start it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            3. Inside a Scenario<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

            Opening a Scenario displays two tabs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            • Settings<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • User rights<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

              3.1 Settings tab<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

              This is where you define the content and sequence of your Scenario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                \n
              • Add a scene<\/strong> \u2013 click this button to insert dashboards and\/or explorations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Scenario total duration<\/strong> \u2013 displayed at the top center, showing the sum of all scene display times.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Repeat scenario<\/strong> \u2013 toggle to restart the sequence automatically after the last scene.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                Scenes<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

                Each scene has its own configuration:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                  \n
                • Display time<\/strong> \u2013 how long the scene will remain on screen<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • KPI refresh time<\/strong> \u2013 how often KPIs update within the scene<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • Filters<\/strong> \u2013 apply filters to the scene\u2019s content<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • Edit<\/strong> \u2013 modify a specific scene<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • Delete<\/strong> \u2013 remove a scene<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                  Owners<\/strong> can:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                    \n
                  • Add, edit, and delete scenes<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  • Change the scene order using drag-and-drop<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  • Enable\/disable scenario repetition<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                    Guests<\/strong> can:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                      \n
                    • View the list of scenes and their details (display time, KPI refresh time, filters)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                    • They cannot<\/strong> add, edit, delete, reorder scenes, or change the repeat setting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                      3.2 User rights tab<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

                      This tab manages access to the Scenario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                        \n
                      • Search bar<\/strong> \u2013 find users by name<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                      • Add a user<\/strong> \u2013 new users are added as guests<\/strong> by default<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                      • Change role<\/strong> \u2013 switch a user from guest to owner<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                        • Remove user<\/strong> \u2013 revoke access<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                          Only owners<\/strong> can manage user rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                          4. Launching a Scenario<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                          Once at least one scene is configured, owners and guests can start the Scenario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                          When the Scenario is launched:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                            \n
                          • The sequence opens with all KPIs<\/strong> from the selected dashboards\/explorations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                          • A progress bar<\/strong> under each KPI shows the time remaining before its refresh<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                          • At the top of the screen, another progress bar<\/strong> indicates how much time is left before switching to the next scene<\/strong> (with all its KPIs).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                          • Two buttons<\/strong> at the top allow you to:\n
                              \n
                            • Switch to full-screen<\/strong> mode<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                            • Jump directly to the next scene<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
