{"id":5117,"date":"2025-07-25T16:24:06","date_gmt":"2025-07-25T14:24:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/help.ino.cx\/?post_type=ht_kb&#038;p=5117"},"modified":"2026-02-17T16:42:04","modified_gmt":"2026-02-17T15:42:04","slug":"dashboards","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"https:\/\/help.ino.cx\/index.php\/help-center\/dashboards\/","title":{"rendered":"Dashboards"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignright is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1080\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/help.ino.cx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Smart-licence-needed-2-1.png\" alt=\"L\u2019attribut alt de cette image est vide, son nom de fichier est Smart-licence-needed-2.png.\" class=\"wp-image-5048\" style=\"width:250px\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-45fa2c4e-9849-4988-985b-4d215bd1e3c6\">[<em>Reading time: 3 minutes<\/em>]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"overview\"><strong>Overview<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Dashboards<\/strong> module in the Reporter allows you to create and customize statistical dashboards with tailored Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).<br>A dashboard can include up to <strong>30 KPIs<\/strong>, coming from different explorations, to provide an overall view of your performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1598\" height=\"1236\" src=\"https:\/\/help.ino.cx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/undraw_data-trends_kv5v.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5205\" style=\"width:250px\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udc49 <a href=\"https:\/\/help.ino.cx\/index.php\/help-center\/kpis-explorations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">See the article about KPIs<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udc49 <a href=\"https:\/\/help.ino.cx\/index.php\/help-center\/calculated-data-explorations\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/help.ino.cx\/index.php\/help-center\/calculated-data-explorations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">See the article about calculated data customized<\/a><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Accessing the dashboards module<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To access the module, you need:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Access to <strong>Reporter<\/strong> in your role.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access to <strong>Dashboards<\/strong> in your role.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>creation right<\/strong> to be able to create dashboards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Interface and dashboard management<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When you access the module, you see a list of existing dashboards.<br>For each dashboard, the following information is displayed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Name<\/strong>: dashboard name.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Rights<\/strong>: your rights on the dashboard (<em>Owner<\/em> or <em>Guest<\/em>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Users<\/strong>: number of users with access to the dashboard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>KPIs<\/strong>: number of KPIs in the dashboard (maximum of 30).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Action buttons:<ul><li>Open (arrow)<\/li><li>Duplicate (cogwheel)<\/li><li>View history (cogwheel)<\/li><li>Edit (pencil)<\/li><li>Delete (bin)<\/li><\/ul><em>Available actions depend on your rights (Owner or Guest).<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A search bar lets you search for a dashboard <strong>by its name<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also <strong>refresh<\/strong> the dashboard list at any time to apply real-time updates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Access rights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Owner<\/strong>: can edit and delete the dashboard, manage the KPIs it contains, and manage user access rights using a search bar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Guest<\/strong>: can only view the dashboard and users (<em>read-only<\/em>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Both Owners and Guests can <strong>duplicate<\/strong> a dashboard and <strong>view its history<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Creating a dashboard<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There are two ways to create a dashboard:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. From the dashboards module<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click the <strong>Create<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Give your dashboard a name.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the users who should have read-only access.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Note: you can change these rights later if needed.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once created, the dashboard is empty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Enter the dashboard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the <strong>Information<\/strong> tab, click <strong>Add the KPI<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A list of all available KPIs (from all explorations you have access to) is displayed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the KPIs you want to add.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. From the KPI tab of an exploration<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Select one or more KPIs from the same exploration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create a dashboard directly from this tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once created, you can then add KPIs from other explorations if needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2244\" height=\"906\" src=\"https:\/\/help.ino.cx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Capture-de\u0301cran-2025-07-22-a\u0300-14.35.14.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5212\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Editing a dashboard<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are an Owner:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You can change the <strong>layout<\/strong> and <strong>size<\/strong> of the KPIs by clicking the <strong>Change the layout<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can add or remove KPIs from the <strong>Information<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can also edit user access rights.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Deleting or duplicating a dashboard<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Only an <strong>Owner<\/strong> can delete a dashboard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When duplicating a dashboard, all its content (KPIs and layout) is copied, but user access rights are not.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Refreshing data<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can refresh to apply real-time updates:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On each individual KPI inside the dashboard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the list of dashboards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This ensures you always see the most recent data and changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Filters<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Inside a dashboard, you can apply filters to refine your view:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A date filter for <strong>3 rolling months<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Depending on the selected KPIs, other filters may also be available.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Exporting KPIs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The KPIs added to a dashboard can be exported in the same way as in the KPI tab of an exploration (pdf, png, csv). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Content<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The KPIs in a dashboard always indicate which exploration they come from.
