By default, files are stored within INO cx, but they can also be stored on a repository connector or only on it.<\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1394\" height=\"922\" src=\"https:\/\/help.ino.cx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/undraw_server_9eix.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4776\" style=\"width:300px\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n<p>Using a repository connector is optional and serves several purposes. <span style=\"font-size: revert;\">Some companies must store their recordings on their own servers for regulatory reasons.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Files that can be stored on a repository connector come from the following features: v<strong>oice mailbox, q<\/strong><strong>ueue, <\/strong><strong>IVR recorder, v<\/strong><strong>oice campaigns, s<\/strong><strong>cheduled reports.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>1. Creating a new repository connector<\/h2>\n<p>Repository connectors are configured in the <strong>Maker<\/strong>, under the <strong>Data<\/strong> module, in the <strong>Repository connectors<\/strong> submodule.<\/p>\n\n<h3>List of repository connectors<\/h3>\n<p>This section displays all previously created connectors with the following details:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>\n<p><strong>Name<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Reference<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Type<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>\n<p><strong>S3<\/strong>: A cloud storage service that allows scalable object storage.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>FTP (File Transfer Protocol)<\/strong>: A standard protocol for transferring files between computers over a network.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Folder path<\/strong>: The storage location of the files.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Store files on INO cx<\/strong>: Indicates whether files are also stored on INO cx.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Status<\/strong>: Active\/Error. If &#8220;Error,&#8221; a new test is required.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Available Actions<\/b>:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\"><b>Arrow button<\/b>: Open the repository connector.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><b>Cogged wheel<\/b>: Duplicate, view history, check dependencies, add tags, or test the repository connector (which updates the status to active or error).<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><b>Edit button (pencil)<\/b>: Modify the repository connector.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><b>Delete button (trash bin)<\/b>: Delete the repository connector. If grayed out, the connector is being used elsewhere. Click &#8220;View dependencies&#8221; to check where it is used.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3>Creating a connector<\/h3>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"646\" height=\"1560\" src=\"https:\/\/help.ino.cx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Capture-de\u0301cran-2025-03-10-a\u0300-17.08.40.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4784\" style=\"width:380px\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Click <strong>Create<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Fill in the following details:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>\n<p><strong>Name<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Reference<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Store files on INO cx<\/strong> (Yes\/No). If &#8220;No,&#8221; be aware of the risk of file loss.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Type<\/strong>: S3 or FTP.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>If you choose <strong>S3<\/strong>, provide:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>\n<p><strong>Access key<\/strong>: Authentication key.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Secret key<\/strong>: Secret access key.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Region<\/strong>: The region where the storage bucket is located.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Bucket name<\/strong>: Name of the storage container.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Folder path<\/strong>: The folder will be created if it does not exist.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you choose <strong>FTP<\/strong>, provide:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>\n<p><strong>Secure FTP (FTPS)<\/strong> (Yes\/No): Enables secure FTP mode.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Host<\/strong>: FTP server address.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Port<\/strong>: Connection port.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>User name<\/strong>: Login credentials.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Password<\/strong>: Authentication password.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Folder path<\/strong>: Directory for file storage.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>2. Granting access permissions<\/h2>\n<h3>Prerequisites<\/h3>\n<p>Users must have the appropriate permissions in <strong>Maker<\/strong>, in the Role:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>\n<p><strong>Maker<\/strong>: Access to voice mailboxes, queues, IVR recorders, and voice campaigns.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Reporter<\/strong>: Access to explorations.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">User must also have the right to access repository connectors in the Role.<\/p>\n<h3>Assigning the connector to modules<\/h3>\n<p>Once all this has been set up in the Maker, in the repository connectors sub-module, you&#8217;ll need to add the rights to access the recordings.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\"><b>Voice mailbox<\/b>: In Maker, go to <b>Toolbox &gt; Voice Mailbox<\/b>. When creating or editing a voice mailbox, select the repository connector from the dropdown menu.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><b>Queue<\/b>: In Maker, go to <b>Routing &gt; Queues<\/b>, select the queue, then go to <b>Settings &gt; Processing &gt; Recordings<\/b> and choose the appropriate repository connector.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><b>IVR recorder<\/b>: In Maker, go to <b>Toolbox &gt; IVR Recorders<\/b>. When creating or editing an IVR recorder, select the repository connector from the dropdown menu.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><b>Voice campaign<\/b>: In Maker, go to <b>Campaigns &gt; Voice campaigns<\/b>, open the campaign settings, then navigate to <b>Processing &gt; Recording<\/b> and choose the repository connector.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><b>Scheduled report<\/b>: In Reporter, go to <b>Explorations &gt; Scheduled Reports<\/b>, select a scheduled report, and choose the repository connector.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\"><em><b>Notes<\/b>: Ensure that the correct repository connector is selected to avoid misdirected storage. If a repository connector is not available in the dropdown, verify that it has been created and is active.<\/em><\/p>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<h2>3.
