It can be used to perform arithmetic, logical or conditional operations directly in the Reporter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1598\" height=\"1236\" src=\"https:\/\/help.ino.cx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/undraw_data-trends_kv5v.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5155\" style=\"width:300px\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In an exploration, the calculated data is used to create a KPI that is not available with the proposed templates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you need information, please first consult the article on<a href=\"https:\/\/help.ino.cx\/index.php\/help-center\/explorations-data-tables\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/help.ino.cx\/index.php\/help-center\/explorations-data-tables\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> explorations<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/help.ino.cx\/index.php\/help-center\/kpis-explorations\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/help.ino.cx\/index.php\/help-center\/kpis-explorations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">KPI<\/a>s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To access calculated data, you need to open an exploration, KPIs tab, then click &#8216;Create a KPI&#8217;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2880\" height=\"1622\" src=\"https:\/\/help.ino.cx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Calculated-data.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5158\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Calculated data are displayed on the right-hand side of the screen (\u201cItems\u201d tab).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2880\" height=\"1622\" src=\"https:\/\/help.ino.cx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Design-sans-titre.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5157\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"data-types\">Data types<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All the calculated data available for the explorations to which you have access are in the \u201cItems\u201d tab. They are divided into two main categories:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Template (yellow): default data<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Customized (blue): created data<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.ino.cx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Capture-de%CC%81cran-2024-02-13-a%CC%80-14.34.11.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3505\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Template data cannot be modified or deleted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Customized data cannot be deleted if at least one KPI or calculation uses it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"calculated-data-creation\">Calculated data creation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In the previous &#8216;items&#8217; tab, click &#8216;Create new data&#8217;. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can choose between 4 types of data when you create your data:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1400\" height=\"1184\" src=\"https:\/\/help.ino.cx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Capture-de\u0301cran-2025-06-24-a\u0300-15.49.19.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5159\" style=\"width:500px\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"abscissa\">Data groups<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Data groups are used in many KPIs: multi-line, pie chart, tables, etc. These are the data shown in yellow in the items table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>The calculation is based on one column of the exploration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1294\" height=\"1218\" src=\"https:\/\/help.ino.cx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Capture-de\u0301cran-2025-06-24-a\u0300-15.55.26.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5160\" style=\"width:500px\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Depending on the column selected, the parameters linked to the data will be different.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"boxplot\">Boxplot<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Boxplot data are exclusive to Boxplot KPI. These are the data shown in purple in the items table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To configure them, simply select a number-type column (e.g. Total interaction time) and then choose the return value format.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1318\" height=\"1252\" src=\"https:\/\/help.ino.cx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Capture-de\u0301cran-2025-06-24-a\u0300-16.52.08.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5161\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"calculated-data\">Calculated data<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This data type, shown in turquoise in the items table, allows you to perform a simple calculation (sum, average, minimum, maximum, etc.) on a raw data column. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, you can calculate the average interaction time by selecting the \u201cTotal interaction time\u201d column and applying the \u201cAverage\u201d calculation type. Filters can also be applied to restrict the values taken into account in the calculation (based on Maker datas).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.ino.cx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Capture-de%CC%81cran-2024-02-20-a%CC%80-15.54.06.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3516\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"calculations\">Calculations<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This data type, in red in the items table, allows you to create customized formulas from already calculated data. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Simply drag and drop operators (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) into the &#8216;Formula&#8217; calculation zone, then add indicators (such as number of calls handled or average waiting time), to obtain a new composite indicator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Note: A composite indicator is a customized indicator created from several other data items.
