Chat modules allow you to configure and deploy a chat interface that can be integrated into your website or used in digital interactions (for example via SMS campaigns).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From this page, you can create, manage, configure, and integrate your chat modules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Access the chat modules list<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When you open the Chat modules page in the Maker, you arrive on the list of already created modules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • Search by Name<\/strong> or Alias<\/strong> using the search bar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Search by Tags<\/strong> using the dedicated tag search field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    1.1. Columns displayed in the list<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Each chat module is displayed with the following columns:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • Name<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Reference<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Alias<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Time zone<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Language<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Smart routing<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • End-of-interaction smart routing<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      1.2. Available actions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      At the end of each line, several action buttons are available:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        \n
      • < ><\/strong>: Integrate the module into your website<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Arrow<\/strong>: Open the module<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Cogged wheel <\/strong>: Duplicate, view history, manage tags<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Pencil<\/strong>: Edit<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Trash <\/strong>: Delete<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        If the trash icon is greyed out, the chat module is currently used in other configurations and cannot be deleted. You must first review and remove its dependencies before deleting it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        2. Create a chat module<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        Click Create<\/strong> at the top of the page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        You must fill in the following fields:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          \n
        • Name<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Reference<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Alias<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Time zone<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Language<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Smart routing<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • End-of-interaction smart routing<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          Then click Add the chat module<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Once created, the chat module appears in the list. You must open it to configure it further.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          3. Configure a chat module<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

          Each chat module contains two sub-tabs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            \n
          • General<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Trigger strategies<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            3.1. General tab<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

            At the top of the page, two buttons are available:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              \n
            • < > Integrate<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Edit (pencil icon)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

              3.1.1. Edit a chat module<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

              When clicking Edit<\/strong>, you can modify:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                \n
              • Name<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Reference (unique, and may contain the following special characters: _+.@- )<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Alias (for statistics)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Description (optional)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Time zone (‘Default’ will correspond to the time zone set in the client account settings)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Language (‘Default’ will correspond to the time zone set in the client account settings)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Automatic sending of the conversation via email (Yes \/ No)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                The URL access to the chat<\/strong> is automatically generated and cannot be modified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                You can also update:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                  \n
                • Smart routing<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • End-of-interaction smart routing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                  3.1.2. Configure the appearance<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

                  You can configure the visual appearance of the chat module.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                  Two styles are available:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                  Simple style<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                  You can define:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                    \n
                  • Title<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  • Module color<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  • Button color<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  • Button icon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                    Advanced style<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                    You can define:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                    • Title<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                    • Module color<\/li>\n\n\n\n

                    • Up to 3 customizable avatars<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                    • Heading<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                    • Button title<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                      3.1.3. Integrate the chat module<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

                      Click < > Integrate<\/strong> to generate the integration code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                      Before integration, make sure your domain name is authorized in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                      Client account settings > Security > Domain names<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                      You must copy the generated code and paste it just before the closing <\/body><\/code> tag of your HTML page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                      3.1.4. Pass data to the chat module<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

                      You can send information to the chat module that will be used in INO cx.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                      To do so, add the \"data\"<\/code> key to the ChatusLauncher builder and define the following variables:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                        \n
                      • firstname<\/code>: Contact\u2019s first name (string)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                      • lastname<\/code>: Contact\u2019s last name (string)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                      • message<\/code>: A message displayed to the advisor at the start of the conversation (string)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                      • vars<\/code>: Variables displayed to the advisor during the interaction (Array of objects)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                        3.2. Trigger strategies tab<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

                        In this tab, you can add one or several trigger strategies that must have been previously created in the dedicated Trigger strategies module of the Maker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                        Once added, they appear in a list with the following columns:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                          \n
                        • Name<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
                        • Reference<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
                        • Display the chat icon<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
                        • Opening the entire chat<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                          By default:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                            \n
                          • Display the chat icon<\/strong> is set to Yes<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                          • It cannot be set to No<\/strong> if Opening the entire chat<\/strong> is set to No<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                          • If Opening the entire chat<\/strong> is set to Yes<\/strong>, you can choose whether to display the chat icon (Yes\/No).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                            4. Additional information<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
                              \n
                            • It is possible to include a chat module in an SMS campaign<\/strong>. A link will allow customers to access the chat module.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                            • A messaging smart routing<\/strong> is required if you want to use a chat module.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                            • A chat module can only be used with the digitalization<\/strong> action.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"

                              Chat modules allow you to redirect your customers to a chatbot that they can interact with, or use for self-care purposes.
