Each calendar can have a status of On or Off. To configure a calendar, click on the arrow to enter its settings.

Setting up a calendar

Once inside a calendar, you can define its parameters by adding slots for opening hours, closing hours, and holidays. Here are the steps:

1. Adding an open slot

To add opening hours:

Click on add an open slot.

Configure the following options:

Days: Choose when the opening hours apply. Options include:

Every day: All seven days of the week.

Each: Specify a recurring day, such as every Monday.

On: Choose a specific date, such as the 3rd of the month.

Months: Select whether the opening hours apply to all months or specific ones.

Years: Choose whether the slot repeats yearly or only in specific years.

Hours: Define the time range:

All day.

Starting at a specific hour.

Ending at a specific hour.

Between specific hours (e.g., 9 am to 5 pm).

Name: Assign a name to the time slot (e.g., “monday opening hours”).

Repeat the process for each day or time slot required (e.g., “tuesday opening hours,” etc.).

2. Adding a close slot

This process is identical to adding an open slot but specifies when your business will be closed. If neither an opening nor a closing slot is configured for a given time, it will be considered as closed by default.

3. Adding holidays

You can also configure special holiday schedules:

Click on add new holidays.

Select a country to auto-fill default holiday dates.

Choose the needed holidays.

Activate/deactivate

Each entry you add to the calendar (opening, closing and holiday times) can be activated or deactivated.

You can also change the status of the entire calendar itself (On / Off), as written earlier.

Using calendars

Once calendars are set up, they can be integrated into various features of the Maker:

Voice campaigns: Under settings > general > planning, you can schedule campaigns, including setting an end date.

SMS campaigns: Similarly, under settings > general > planning, you can define schedules and end dates.

Trigger strategies: When creating a strategy, you can add a trigger and specify whether it activates during opening hours or outside them.

Smart routings: Use the action test a calendar to define branching logic.
