Voicemail – Use it

Overview

The Voicemail area in the Banner provides access to all messages left in voicemail boxes associated with the active profile. You can filter, search, listen to, and manage messages directly from this interface.

Reminder: Once a voicemail box is created in the Maker, it must be integrated into a Smart Routing and added to the relevant Profile to be used. Message retention is configured in the Maker and applies to all messages left in the voicemail box.

1. Viewing and filtering messages

When accessing the voicemail messages in the Banner:

  • Date filter: Allows filtering messages over a rolling 3-month period.
  • Search by phone number: Enter a number to find specific messages.
  • Filter by voice mailbox: Use the filter button on the right to select messages from a specific voicemail box.

2. Message details

Each voicemail message is displayed with the following information:

  • Start date: Date and time the message was received
  • Contact: Phone number of the caller
  • Action buttons:
    • Mobile number: Call back or send an SMS
    • Landline: Call back only
  • Source mailbox: The voicemail box that received the message
  • Playback controls: Listen, fast forward, or rewind the message, with a progress bar showing message duration
  • Additional buttons: Download, view (if Generate a public link was enabled in the Maker), or delete

If Generate a public link is enabled in the Maker and email notifications are configured for new messages, users can listen to the message directly from the email via a dedicated button.
