Customized lists

Overview

Customized lists are reusable lists of values that can be used across several features in INO cx, such as cases fields, CRM fields, database columns, or qualification questionnaires.

They allow you to define elements and sub-elements that users can select when interacting with these features.

1. Rights

Rights to create, modify, or delete customized lists are managed in the role configuration in the Maker.

By default, all elements and sub-elements of a list are accessible to any user who has access to the feature using this list, unless restrictions are defined at the element level, in customized lists module.

2. Accessing the module

In the Maker, go to the customized lists module.
The page displays all existing customized lists. At the top, you will find:

  • a search bar to search by name or reference

  • a tag filter to refine results by tag

Below, the list table contains two columns:

  • name

  • reference

For each list, the following actions are available on the right:

  • arrow icon: open the list

  • cogwheel: duplicate, view history, see dependencies, manage tags

  • pencil: edit

  • trash: delete (if no dependancies)

3. Creating a new list

To create a new list, click create.
When creating a list, choose:

  • a name (mandatory)

  • a reference (mandatory, must be unique; allowed special characters: _+.@-)

4. Managing elements and sub-elements

Inside a list, you can add elements and, if needed, multiple levels of sub-elements.
Elements can be reordered using drag & drop.
Each element and sub-element must be managed individually if you want specific rights and conditions.

5. Defining rights on elements

When opening an element, two tabs are available:

  • profiles: grant access only to selected profiles.

    • modification: the element can be used by the profile.

    • read only: the element is visible but cannot be selected.

    • if no profile is added, the element is accessible to everyone.

  • display conditions: only apply when the list is used in a qualification questionnaire.
You can choose to display the element if:

    • all conditions are met

    • at least one condition is met

Click create to add new conditions.

Examples of display conditions:

  • Flow != Email ➡️  The flow is different from email
  • Direction = Incoming ➡️ The direction of the interaction is incoming
  • etc.

6. Using customized lists

Once created, customized lists can be used in:

  • case fields

  • CRM fields

  • database columns

  • qualification questionnaires

7. Viewing lists in the profiles module

In the Maker, under the profiles module > configuration tab, you can see which customized lists are associated with a profile.

This view is informative only: list management is done directly in the customized lists module.
If a list does not appear for a profile, it means the profile has access to all its elements.
