Overview
Customized buttons allow you to add specific actions directly into the Banner.
They can be used to execute a workflow, call a web service, or open a URL (internal or external).

Customized buttons are created in the Maker and can then be added to Profiles.
1. Accessing the module
In the Maker, open the Customized Buttons module.
You will land directly on the list of existing buttons.
Each line represents a button and displays several columns:
- Preview: how the button will look
- Locations: where the button is available
- Type: URL, Workflow, or Web service
- URL / Web service / Workflow: the target linked to the button
- Actions:
- ➡️ Open
- ⚙️ Duplicate, history, see dependencies, tags
- ✏️ Edit
- 🗑️ Delete
2. Required permissions
Permissions for customized buttons are configured in the Role (in the Maker).
Three permissions are available:
- Create
- Modify
- Delete

3. Creating a customized button
- In the Customized Buttons module, click Create.
- Select the locations where the button will be displayed:
- Top bar
- Interaction (with automatic trigger options)
- CRM card
- Case (Dossier)
- Choose the action type:
- URL: enter an address. You can insert variables using the purple magic wand (see Magic fields and variables).
- Workflow: select an existing workflow (must be created beforehand).
- Web service: select an existing web service (must be created beforehand).
4. Settings
Open the button and customize it in the Settings tab:
- Icon: choose from the icon palette provided by INO cx.
- Color: choose from the fixed color palette.
- Title: mandatory field.
- Automatic trigger (only for interactions): No automatic trigger / When the interaction is presented / When the interaction is accepted. When automatic trigger is enabled, the button runs immediately in the background.
5. Display conditions
The second tab allows you to define display conditions.
These conditions are only available for interactions and cases.
- If no condition is set, the button is displayed by default.
- You can choose to display the button:
- when at least one condition is met
- when all conditions are met
Available operators include:
=,!=,>,>=,<,<=exists,not_exists,isNull
👉 Multiple conditions can be combined (up to 10).
6. Adding a button to a Profile
Once created, the button must be assigned to a Profile to be visible to users.
- In the Maker, open the Profiles module.
- In the Profile configuration tab, go to the Customized Buttons sub-tab.
- Add the button(s) you want.
👉 You can assign multiple buttons to the same profile (up to 10).
7. Specific case: External CRM option in queues
In Queues module, an option allows you to activate the external CRM.
When enabled, an external CRM URL can be opened through a button in the interaction.
⚠️ Important:
- This option overrides all “interaction” buttons associated with the profile.
- Of course, the queue must be added to the user’s active profile for the option to work.
