Overview
The Variables sub-module in the Maker allows you to create, manage, and organize the variables used in INO cx. These variables are essential for storing and manipulating data in smart routings.

Accessing the variables sub-module
- Open the Maker in INO cx.
- Go to the Routing section.
- Click on Variables.
You will then see a list of existing variables with search and filtering options.
Creating a new variable
- In the Variables sub-module, click the Create button.
- Fill in the required fields:
- Name (required): A unique identifier for the variable. It cannot be modified after creation.
- Reference (required): A unique technical identifier that may include special characters (
_-.@). - Description (optional): Additional information about the variable’s purpose.
- Variable fields (required):
- A variable must contain at least one field.
- Field names must be alphanumeric and unique.
- Click Add the variable to save the variable.
⚠️Warning: If a variable is deleted or its reference is modified, the routing actions that use it will no longer function properly.
Modifying or deleting a variable
- Modification: Once created, only the description and fields can be modified.
- Deletion: A variable can be deleted, but this may impact existing configurations.
Using variables in routings
Once created, variables can be used in routing actions, making workflows more automated and personalized.
